Tree Removal at Walnut Street

This large Willow Tree, which was broken in a recent storm, was hanging over the Newport Secondary Track and had to be removed before it fell onto the track or a passing train. Following this project, the Old Colony & Newport Railway was called to do a track inspection before their next scheduled run. Fortunately there was a two week break in the train schedule.
